I tend to criticise almost everything, it's something linked with my character, many times I have difficulty to get satisfied with few. I appreciate good architecture, good food, good art, a good book...Of course defining something as “good” is relative especially when it's about art but architecture and literature have their own rules of quality, they have some basic criteria which make them easier to criticise.
I decided to write this blog while I was crossing the bridge which was projected by Santiago Calatrava on Canal Grande of Venice. It's called “Ponte della Costituzione” but I always called it “Calatrava Bridge”. I was crossing that bridge maybe for the 1000th time in my life and complaining about it to Lorenzo together with my other complaints about the restoration of Palazzo Grassi. He said “why don't you write all these in a blog?” so here I am.
